Express Entry Visa

The Canadian Immigration Express Entry Program was introduced in January 2015 in the IRCC system for Canadian immigration. It is an application management system designed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage and process forms received through three of Canada’s federal economic immigration plans for skilled workers. Express Entry is a competitive immigration system, placing all eligible applicants against one another based on their age, work background, education and other factors. They invite the best-ranking applicants to appeal for Canadian permanent resident status.

The ranking is based on the following main criteria.

• Age
• Education
• Qualifying Experience: The experience has to be in one of the following
• Managerial jobs (skill type 0)
• Professional jobs (skill level A)
• Technical jobs and skilled trades (skill level B)
• Language abilities (English and French)
• Arranged offer of Employment
• Adaptability (how well you’re likely to settle here)
• These factors are part of a 100-point grid used to assess eligibility for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You earn points for how well you do in each of the six factors.

 The current pass mark is 67 points.

 As an applicant asking for an Express Entry, you should be eligible under any of the following three immigration programs

Canadian Experience Class: This immigration program led by Express Entry lets international students and temporary foreign workers have a year of full-time work experience or at least 24 months of part-time work experience to get a Canada Permanent Residency.
