PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAMS
When someone chooses to immigrate to Canada, they decide to move to a new Province or Territory to start or contribute to their desired region’s economic success and advancement. By selecting a location that has its own Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), potential immigrants who choose these locations as their destination take advantage of a streamlined system that is geared toward attracting candidates who are most likely to settle permanently in that location and who have what it takes career-wise to be an asset to that economy.
Provinces and Territories can nominate a specific immigrant to immigrate to Canada. Once an individual is appointed, they may move to whichever Province or Territory the province wishes. The Province would then be able to show how the person’s immigration benefits their community.
PNP PROCESS
Applicants who meet the selection criteria of a given province or territory may apply for permanent residence to the federal government after receiving their provincial nomination certificate. A successful application will be forwarded to the federal government, where IRCC will review any other eligibility requirements and determine whether an applicant can permanently settle in Canada. The process begins when applicants contact our office and receive personalized services to become eligible for choosing from one of these three programs: Foreign Worker (FW) Program, Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Express Entry (EE). However, according to the legislation, this process must follow specific steps to ensure applicants are not cheated, are protected from unscrupulous immigration representatives, and ultimately receive permanent residence status.
